About the event
Designed for doctoral students, post-docs, and early-career scholars, Scholar Forward is a monthly workshop series that offers practical ideas, resources, and conversation about the work of being a scholar. Each month, we’ll explore a different topic across three tracks: Teaching, Research, and Praxis.
Each one-hour session will include a focused workshop, followed by Q&A and dialogue, with ample room for conversation and exchange.
On Teaching: Documenting Effort and Effectiveness will focus on strategies to:
Develop a teaching philosophy and align it with your teaching practice
Document teaching effectiveness beyond course evaluations
Identify resources that can further develop your teaching effectiveness
